I ended up trading in my Ion Redline for somthing that was much more practical and is it smarter choice in the long run. Altho i do miss the supercharger lol. Its a 04 Honda Element Ex Eternal Blue (only 17k).Seems with these cars, you either love them or hate em. I didnt like them when they first came out but i absolutely love mine. Its insane all the different things you can do with them and how everything moves around. So far iv blacked out the windows. To come is a lowering kit, wheels, paint all the plastic panels, then some mods to the interior.Anyways for the detail end of it. Had some nice buffer trials in it, spider webs, scratches, water spots, overspray, you name it.

Process-

Wash
Meg GC/ Meg NXT wash via foam (thought i mix it up a lil)w/schmitt
Dried ultimate guzzler
Clayed w/ Zaino then rewashed

Wheels/Tires/wheels
Degreased with P&S Enviro Clean
Tires dressed with P&S Wipe N Shine
Wheels got PB Sealant

Paint
XMT 3 w/ CCS Orange Light Cutting Pad @ 5.5 UDM
XMT 1 w/ CCS Green Polish/Finishing Pad @ 3 UDM
XMT Glaze w/ CCS Grey Finishing Pad @ 2 UDM
XMT 180 x2

Windows-
SC window cleaner

Looks darn good, 180 looks great on it, reflection for miles.

Looks great, that polishing pal one great tool polishing/waxing imo, i love mine...

Cool car too, not many of those around here, post up some pics after you lower it and get some rims on it, guess it will be super cool then

If that car had received the care, time, products, and expertise you put into it before you bought it I bet it would have sold for more. Great job! You made those nasty swirls and scratches a thing of the past. The black finish looks outstanding.

I recently saw one of those cars with a bumper sticker that said "Suburban HO Scale". LOL!

I have an element I have had it for 4 years and I love it it is roony and can fit alot in it. I love it more now tan when I bought it it is great, but it does look like a toaster on wheels.Who cares it was cheap and it runs great.:buffing:Im the MAN:cheers:

Thanks everyone for your comments, much appreciated. I actaully work at the dealership where i bought it. They all saw it today, they couldnt believe it was the same car. I also got four jobs out of it. Ones a 06 BMW M3 Jet black, cant wait.

Truls- ill deff post pics when its lowered and has some rims. theres not to many around here and non modded. it will deff stand out. I love my polsihing pal. No more hand aches while waxing. i just ordered one for my dad as well.

ZaxJax- It has 17, 500 miles on it. not bad for a 04 being almost 08.

Gary- the fenders are actually just textured plastic, its kinda nice. dont have to worry about rock chips and less paint to take care of lol.

Tragu- The room in these things is crazy. I really like how the back seats come off the ground for all the floor space, my dog loves it lol. It does one of those cars that grows on you. i never thought i would own one, now i wish i would of bought one sooner. Sense its a honda you know it will last forever if you take care of it.

Congratulations on the new car. You did an outstanding job of making it look brand new again. It has a mirror-like finish now.

Any ideas what you might use on the textured plastic...like 303 or similar? My Xterra has the same thing and always looking for some new and product to possibly try on it.
And if you ever figure out a way to get some scratches out of that plastic....well then

Last night i actaully just through on a quik coat of PB Natural look just so see how it looked. It looked really good, a nice satin finish and made it look a little darker. Think next im going to try PB Trim Restorer.
I actaully have a few scratches on the plastic of mine. Im going to try something out this weekend and see how it works. Ill letcha know how it comes out.
