New cg after wash

Sounds great - hopefully somebody will pull the MSDS and see if it has mineral spirits in it.

Ehhhh...for a few dollars more I'll buy a full gallon of Duragloss Aquwax, dilute it and use that as my drying aid. Works perfectly.

I spoke w/ Jerry at DG who informed me diluting it 1:1 would make it a perfect drying aid.

I ordered some yesterday I usually use ammo hydrate and love it so I'll let you know if worth any thing.

Chemical guys definitely needs more products. They don't have enough.

Can't ONR be use as a drying aid way cheaper on the pocket

I don't really get it either. There are many other products that can accomplish this, many of which most of us probably already have, like ONR, AW, or UWW+. CG even shows its V7 being used as a drying aid in one of their videos. A further issue I see is price. The video shows several sprays being used on a small section of the hood. Just guessing, using it that way would probably last for 4-5 washes. At $15 for the 16oz bottle, it doesn't justify the cost. this seems to be a theme with CG- the older formulation of EcoSmart RU at AG is $12. It takes me at least 10+ oz to do a waterless wash, which makes it cost prohibitive, at least in that size. Newer formulation concentrate is priced better though.
I have a lot of CG products, but will pass on this one.

I think CG should rethink the name "After wash". First few things that comes to mind are not positive for me :D

And I agree something along the lines of ONR costs a lot less

Same thing can be done if you have a good LSP on, then flood rinse, WW dry. Done.

Well played
:applause:

Working out the math real quick here, a gallon of Duragloss runs me approximately $38 (CDN) delivered. As posted above, when used as a drying aid I dilute it 1:1 so essentially I get 2 gallons (256oz) out of my $38.

Regardless of the ample amount of product they use in their video lets assume that you can get 10 cars (being generous here) out of CG After Wash 16oz bottle (1.6oz used per vehicle) that would mean I would get 160 cars out of one gallon of Aquawax again priced at $38.

I would literally get 16x the use for 2x the price...
