New CG hybrid V7 soap.

It might be worthwhile if it smells like the V07 detailer.

Assuming the new soap is a rebadged, I never liked Glassworks

I like some of the towels they sell, but thats about it.

Bought some "Wash and Wax", pretty sure it was just Wash + Gloss Citrus relabeled. Was garbage

I like their towels,v38,jet seal is good but overpriced and stripper scent smells good

The sad part is, when someone is first researching detailing or searching youtube, the pop right up. It's soo easy to get reeled in b/c they dumb down the concepts. I posted a question on their forum about the gsm of their towels and not one response. Some of their products are pretty good, but they are few and far between.

Exactly the same feel here

I defiantly got the detailing bug from their youtube videos but quickly realized there are far better offerings from other companies. I do however think their soaps are some of their strong points, I may give it a try just to see what its like. Seems like their trying to use the V7 name to get some sales. Most would agree the V7 detailer is a pretty good product. I wouldn't doubt they start coming out with a whole line of "V7" products like they did with the Select Series and Vintage Series...all of which were bad.

I put a 16oz in my cart, hit check out, entered my zip code, then left the site. There's no way I'm paying nearly $15 to ship one 16oz bottle of soap. I'll wait.

Chemical Guys has FREE shipping for purchases over $50, just buy more stuff.

Also Amazon Prime has free shipping and will probably stock the V7 soap.

Ever consider just changing your screen name to Greg@ChemicalGuys?

Don't know why you feel the need to hide behind an anonymous user name just so you can praise the company you work for. Pretty deceptive if you ask me

I tried almost all CG soap, only wonder wash and CW&G smells good then it's end of story :p

The price is really what gets me. I'd love to try it, but don't know how it could be better than any other soap. The price is really what gets me.

Optimum, Meg's and DG are much cheaper and I'm done buying in to "special" car wash soaps.

Plus I have a ton of Meg's UWW from the kits that are on clearance.

cg products doesn't look to be doing to well with one online retailer. in all actuality, they have all their products on clearance...

There are so many different soaps on the market and you just need to choose by what you prefer -- lowest cost, gloss enhancing or not, suds, cleaning, lubricity, brand, rinsing, spotting resistance, etc.

I liked trying soaps like some like trying different beers but I saw very few soaps did not clean the car as intended. Even that is controlled by dilution.

If I picked one soap that seems to be very balanced it is Meg's Hyper Wash (suds, cleaning, rinsing, cost).

It looks like Greg chimed in on over on the sister site if anyone is interested checking out what he said about the shampoo FYI

too bad it cost 50 bucks to join :(

To join?

I'm not a member and can still order products. I just don't order enough from there to warrant paying the membership fee.

Will definitely buy this stuff...I don't like most CG stuff or their company really, but I still like to compare and contrast all products.
