New coatings?

Keep me posted. Looking forward to your video in return. haha!

Video?! Video? Video?! You kiddin me?! [in Jim Mora Playoffs voice] lol.
I'm a total noob at certain stuff... Put it this way, my father had to introduce me to youtube back in the days, not the other way around. Lol.
I don't know how to upload a vid. I don't even know how to burn a CD. Lol.
I've still never been to Facebook...

I think you'll like it. I do 1:20 mixture and put 3oz of reload in a 32oz sprayer, then fill to 31oz with ECH20.

How do you put 31oz of ECH2O and 3 oz. of Reload in a 32oz bottle?

I plan to use Ech2o as a post waterless wash with Uber wipedown. That doesn't sound stupid does it? I figure I can let Uber handle the grunt work since it already does a good job at it + it's alot cheaper than Ech2o + I only have a small bottle of Ech2o to start.

What dilution would you recommend for my situation?

Should it not be in reverse?

that's essentially what I do and love it. I Rinseless wash vs waterless but Uber is my product of choice. Once I dry the vehicle I go over it with my ECH20/Reload cocktail. Love it. As noted, 20:1 works best for me.

Of course I'm only kidding.lol.

But serious question: How does that same mixture not produce optimum results @10:1 Ech2o vs. 20:1 Ech2o? I'm curious to know your specific findings.

I have found that if I mix ECH20 too strong it streaks. Likely most noticeable for me as the cars are black and mine is pure black. On lighter colors I doubt you'd notice it. That's all.

And adding Reload into the mix is all pros and no cons? Just want to be sure, because you know how Reload can be in certain cases.

Nevermind that last question.. No need to overthink it. I trust you guys. I'm just excited for it to arrive now. I ordered a Megs generic spray bottle to go with it. Can't wait to dive in.

The best way to deal with the streaks from a high ech2o concentration is to literally let it dry and haze over then buff off with a dry cloth almost like applying a lsp.

The newest reload formula doesn't have the issues of the old version. I've been testing out the bottle I have and posted about a couple weeks back and it's finally solid.

^^ this. however, I just prefer to use a little less and not have to deal with it.

Ya it does depend on what I'm doing to be honest. I normally for a QD, I actually use about 1 ounce for a 22 ounce spray bottle so it's 21 to 1 just so I can spray and wipe, not need to deal too much with buffing. If however I just wanted to add a little bit extra shine, I'll use 4 ounces for 20 ounces in a spray bottle and then spray a towel down heavily with the solution and go over every bit of my car and let the whole thing haze. I do find that because I have a CarPro coating on, I seem to have an easier experience with the streaking than someone who does not. Might just be my imagination, my Lexus has Pinnacle Black Label Synergy on it and it seems like Ech2o requires a bit more buffing than my Mazda that has Cquartz UK.

I have the good version and it water spotted the heck out of a black Mercedes after it rained. The water spots survived a bucket wash, but eventually went away.

My guess is the Gloss Coat would potentially last longer but there's no real practical way of knowing.

I do know that Gloss Coat imparts a rubbery feel and McKee's 37 imparts a slick feel.

As for longevity, I think this feature is blown out of all practicality. One year for any product is long enough for a daily driver. After one year you want to do "something" to the paint to remove any road film that builds up. So in my opinion, having a coating that lasts a year is optimum and all you want and need. Then after a year, re-polish which means restore that brand new car look and then re-coat.

My two cents for what it's worth...

:)

I'm in this camp.

Gloss Coat and 1 year later (or less) and I repolish and reseal.

Longevity is relative.

What you expect vs what you get is subjective.

I use the Gloss Coat and it meets my expectations, so good to go.

I know this has been covered. But what would a good ratio for EcH2o be on a dark blue Ford?

Does anyone have some reload they would be willing to trade it sell? I don't want to place another order and have to pay that shipping on something so cheap... Obviously I'd like the new reload.

Of interested, please pm me.
