Sold my small portable and got this from Harbor Freight. I will be mounting the hose next to the flexzilla extension cord.

Unfortunately the gauge was damaged and broke from FedEx delivery so I will have to find time to run it back...

I have that exact hose reel (well, we have 4 of them) at work- best air hose ever! They've held up really well despite constant exposure to grease and dirt, I can only imagine in a 'Geeks garage it'll last forever. :props:

Do you have air polishers, or just have the compressor for general garage work?

I was thinking of buying that exact one. to replace my old noisy Husky. The Husky has a larger tanks and is 150 lbs but It so noisy. How is the noise level with these Harbor Freight ones?

If your husky is too loud have you considered a new air intake/filter/silencer? Or running the intake outside?

Makes a pretty big difference vs the one that came on it (I have a Husky Pro 30gal, model VT6315). Mine is a in oiled twin cylinder, not an oil-less model. Solberg makes them, cost about $15 bucks on Amazon.

OP, might make a big difference on yours too. The OEM one on mine was similar in size, and just caused a lot of noise trying to suck air into those tiny openings.

My husky 30 gallon isn't to loud but I wear ear plugs whenever I use that or polishers etc.
