New Detail Trailer

i cant wait to see it done dont you just love getting a new toy!! then getting everything for it.. haha love it

I will be putting in my Generator and Pressure washer in the rear, drivers side corner. I think I am going to build a shelf and have the Gen. on top of the Wasehr to save space. I will also hang my pressure washer hose reel and retractable extension cord reel from the ceiling......

Water tank.... I have a 65 gallon tank now, but I purchased a new one. The 65 gallon tank I bought is horizontal.<-->. The one I just bought is Vertical..^ Looks like a hot water heater. It is 75 gallons. It will save me alot of floor space. It will not be here until next week, and then I have to experiment with building a tank mount. Will probably have some sort of mount made up at a welding shop.......

I have an idea on how to mount it, which involves steel tubing and a welder...:righton: go big or go home...lol

It won't be difficult to get to the chemicals. Since they are in the front, more to the passenger side, I will mount my tank above the axle, a little to the left of the center line of the trailer....maybe 3-4 inches.

I belive the tank is going to be 23-25 inches across..
If I were to mount my horizontal tank, I would have around 8 inches on each side of the tank to get around. Whereas this one.......I can do this by it...Im the MAN
 
Just another Update.....

-Started hanging stuff on the peg board.....Not sure if everything is staying where it is now
-Hung shelf on door. Need something next to it for a dozen spray bottles.
-Put in two, 3 drawer things for my towels and pads. need another one.
-Started putting in a few of my chemicals....

looks good! What's the hairdryer for? Only thing I can think of is for removing any vinyl pieces that a customer may not want.
 
Lookin GOOD! are you going to weld some hinges on the water tank holder? so it can be pulled out? and for your generator are you going to keep it in there even when runing and vent it out the side?

Wow, your effing lucky! I'm only 17, so I don't have a lot of money, but I do have my detailing business. I wish I had that trailer, I LOVE it.

Hairdryer.....yep. used for heating up stickers and what-not. It comes in handy. Or if I have to spot treat a seat, I will run the dryer over it....

Not sure on what I am going to do with the water tank yet.......
I have a few ideas.....but none involved a plan on when I need to remove the tank.....oooops
 
UPDATE.....
New Years Day update...

Racked my brain today on a design for my generator mount. I wanted to mount it ABOVE my pressure washer, to save a little room. Got it all mounted up.
Pressure washer still needs 2 more bolts.
Hose reel bolted down, but no hose on the reel....lol I am thinking of buying a new, longer hose......

I still need to run metal tubing from the generator exhaust through the floor...
 
Looks awesome. Just remember to paint the wood around the generator. I touch of black would match the floor nicely. :applause:
 
Looks good man i know this is a newbe question but in the 5 gal containers like apc and stuff?
 
I was thinking, you could get a vinal logo, that will cover the full trailer, like a detailed car, i saw something like that on a tv show or something really turn heads...
