Fall is the perfect time to visit New England as dense forests explode into reds, oranges, yellows, and purples. Every September and October, leaf peepers arrive to cruise along country lanes, join outdoor adventures, or simply stroll on town greens. Being a life long Connecticuter, for me, the fall, while beautiful, and perfect weather, brings a lot of yard work clean up Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful, and I do look forward to it every year, however something happened this week, that really has me depressed.
While driving down back country roads admiring the beautiful leaf colors, I heard this 'BANG' from the left front of my DD (dodge caravan). Being a fellow geek, I take great care of my vehicles, so it brought some concern. We finished our ride, as everything seemed fine. After unloading the family, I quickly wiped down the van with poor boys spray and wipe, and threw on some Megs D156, but not before finding this bad boy.
Can you see it?
Perhaps more obvious here?
I'm not really worried about bird droppings falling from the sky. This time of year, I am worried about falling CHESTNUTS! Are you kidding me? This is brutal...its like a crater in my hood!
if you come to New England, be careful...nothing you can do, but maybe stay on the highways?
