This is a small peek of the way the Automotive industry is heading . I'm proud to say I will be involved with this car first hand since the Dealership I work for will be the South Florida selling Dealer . The company is called Fisker if you like to do an internet search . I will be posting pictures as soon as we get our demos sometime between June and July . And I plan on doing complete details on our demos .

Awesome Adam!!! Glad to see you and love the Fisker! I'll be in for my test drive asap Im the MAN

Is that the Al Gore car?? It looks great, but for $90k I'll keep my options open.

Fisker Karma is already coming out? Good job for them.

Gorgeous car without question but for $90,000 their drastically reducing their target audience.

from the side 'thumbs up'
from the back 'fugly'

I understand this is a new car and is very different from what we currently have, but repeating what has been said... 90k just seems too steep.

This technology is just like a tv or computer, expensive at first but will get cheaper over time, and the looks of that vehicle I wouldn't expect it to cost less then 65k

Hopefully, I'll see you in June, Adam!!! :dblthumb2:

Never knew he had anything to do with it .

Yes it's coming just a few weeks behind consumer release were hoping for our demos in late June

Bobby price is high but the car isn't for everyone . So far we have 14 sold and plenty of deposits .

Time will tell I guess

Well Fisker also bought a closed GM factory in Delaware where the Elan will be made that car should come in the high 30 range

Isn't amazing what a former car designer at Aston Martin can do with a mere $529 million taxpayer dollars? That's federal money. He's got local subsidies, too.

Let's not forget that we taxpayers kick in $7,500 for each one sold. I don't think anybody who can afford $100K for a toy car needs a $7,500 tax break that we all pay for.

We all kick in millions so a handful of liberal guilt-ridden poseurs can arrive to their next diner party in a "pollution free" car. How do you guys like Obama's socialist utopia so far?

This is B.S. at its highest levels (piles).

P.S.: Adam,

Will your lexicon include "bro" when selling a $100K car? Are your customers basketball players and rappers?

It seems you are getting mad because you are not in their financial position.

Why do they get a $7,500 tax break when they buy the car?

Oh, of course. I was speaking from a personal standpoint.

There's allot of money out there, I just have mine tied up in detailing products and equipment from Autogeek!! :D

It's an awesome looking car. Maybe is I got a closer look at it I'd change my mind....

Oh, gee. You're wrong. I paid cash for my house and both my vehicles.

I'm mad because electric cars are not viable with existing battery technology. I'm mad because our government chooses to play to liberal global warming weenies at our expense.

Look at what Adam wrote. "Price is high, but the car is not for everyone." TOO BAD ALL OF US SUBSIDIZED THE FEW. Those 14 orders will cost taxpayers $105,000. $105,000 so 14 wealthy Floridians can drive a Fiskar? GTFO.

There is a $7,500 federal tax credit for people who buy a car that has a 16 Kv battery pack. Every Nissan Leaf, Toyota Prius, Chevy Volt, Tesla, Fisker Karma, etc. is subsidized by ALL OF US AT $7,500 EACH. Some states kick in extra tax credits.

If you can't build an electric car and sell it without a $7,500 kickback, guess what? Your car isn't viable. Why do we have to subsidize this nonsense when practical solutions already exist? Drive a Golf TDI, or Audi or Mercedes diesel.

Take a Tesla for example. It's Over $100K. It's based on a Lotus Elise, but a lot heavier. The Lotus handles much better. You can buy a Lotus Exige (most expensive and sporty Elise variant) and have enough money to buy enough gasoline to drive 200,000 miles for less than a Tesla.

If everyone drove a plug in tomorrow, what would happen to our electrical grid? Can you say blackout? California has had rolling blackouts for years. Plug in a few million electric cars and candle light dinners will be a necessity.

Where do you think electricity comes from? The eco weenies want nuclear plants shut down. Obama wants to tax coal fired power plants out of existence (the US has enough coal for hundreds of years). He told the San Francisco Examiner if elected, power costs would skyrocket. Our government won't allow drilling for oil and it won't allow new refineries built.

Maybe we should launch a huge solar collector into orbit to generate electricity? wait. Obama defunded NASA.

You didn't know electric car buyers get $7,500 because you get your news from John Stewart. Thanks. Ignorance and apathy got us here and will keep us here.

Damn dude take a pill and sit down. You're tripping out and ruining the guy's thread with your ranting and raving.

I wasn't trying to put you down, so I apologize if it came that way. I would of liked it if you didn't criticize me either.

You have brought up some very good points, which most, if not all I agree with.

I do know that over seas there are several diesel cars that make close to 70 mpg. Just wondering why we are not implementing the same technology as heavily as they are.

Once again, you brought up good points which I agree with. :)

Adam. Im about 45 minutes from exton!! Get in touch if you come up! Ill buy ya dinner one night! Very cool car!

Who the Fu** in the capital stoped Honda from making the Clarity? It pretty much would've stopped all electric/hybrid manfuactures dead in their tracks if this car was viable to the public.

I agree with XB70 that with battery technology today that its not a really all that great of an idea to have an all electric motor car. Most can't even get you out of the city before it needs to be juiced for another 30mins~a full day. So yeah Full electric/Hybrids are today's "rich" peoples play toy more then anything else. Green is the new Greed.

To maximus20895 most diesel cars in Europe to be a competitor HAS to get around 40+ MPG if they want to make sales. But you have to also consider that MOST diesel cars are small (Honda Fit/Jazz size) and thats something that really doesn't fly with us Americans (bigger roads + faster speed limits + even bigger cars on the road = people who won't buy it).
