Quit lurking and finally joined! Got into a 2013 F150 FX4 (5.0) and took it away NOT dealer prep'd after I saw the brushes they were about to attack my truck with.

Cleaned out the supply closet to get the truck ready for winter and to justify my next Autogeek purchase. :)

No befores as truck was new with only a few "love marks".

Took Saturday to:

- Wash with Dawn and foam gun
- Clayed with ONR
- Cleaned tires with Simple Green
- Cleaned rims w/ Sonax Full Effect
- Blackfire TPNS w/ DA (white pad)
- Colonite 845 w/DA (red pad )
- Sealed headlights/tail lights w/JS109
- Dressed tires w/PERL 1:1
- Interior wipe down
- Treated plastics w/ Aerospace 303

Blackfire and 845 played well together....was sure to let TPNS cure for a little over two hours before topping with Colonite. Overkill? We'll see.

I thought this was a reflection from your glass at first, very nice!

I was impressed. The HID is in there, I promise. :). Someone asked why JS109....because it's the only non-abrasive sealant I had on hand besides Crystal Seal. Love BF but JS seems to have a little better durability.....for the stuff I had on hand. Only delaying the inevitable I know...

I had a 2006 version of your truck, the supercrew, loved it. I lived 1mi from my office and put 3000 miles on it in 2 years, mostly hauling to the racetrack and back. I sold it when my hobbies changed and my home moved, but I always missed it, great truck.

Very Nice. Welcome to the forum. I just purchased a 2013 FX4 also, they are nice.

Went Screw as well...long time coming for the 6'5" guy getting a truck that can fit the family. Here is the only other pic I took. A day well worth it.
