Nope, the XFE is free spindle, like a PC or Rupes. The XCE is a quieter forced rotation device, like the 3401.

hmm.. have a GGV2 so got the free covered.. bt quieter forced rotation ... this seems great! use it full power at my apartments!

When I talked with Flex, they said preorders will start with vendors (they weren't specific about which ones) in Jan/Feb 2016 with delivery happening in Feb 2016.
