New For SEMA! Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating

Does anybody have a pro/con list or a "special characteristic" list for all the new coatings -- black fire, Wolfgang, PBL, cquartz and uk, etc so one can pick the one that is the" best fit"? Longevity, temp, rain, shine, durability, dark/light paint, slickness, etc. are some of the variables that could be considered. I do appreciate nicks comments about Wolfgang.....seems like they really focused on a different and unique formulation that provides distinct benefits.

Not sure I have seen a thread or comparison like the above. I have never used a coating and the uber has got my attention so I am starting my research. Your thoughts welcomed.

Well I have used all of the PBMG coatings. PinnacleBlackLabel V1 and V2, Blackfire Crystal coat and now Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating

Easiest application goes to the Pinnacle black label diamond paint coating V2. It cures with a slick glossy surface. High spots are easily removed. Longevity is a little questionable.

Blackfire Crystal coat has been my go coating for a bit now. Little tougher than PBL V2 to apply but still by no means difficult. The water beading is insane and it works great on wheels.

Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating seems to have combined the ease of use from PBL V2 and the longevity of Crystal coat into one coating. Now I cannot comment on the longevity as if yet but I see no reason why this won't be a long lasting coating. One other thing I like is that I can use this one coating on glass wheels and paint without needing different products for each surface.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask anymore questions.

Justin thanks. I like the multiuse idea too. Have used cquartz uk, DLux and DP wheels coatings and love what they do for shine and longevity, e.g. No brake dust build up. So I am intrigued about the simplicity of using uber everywhere on car!!

Was there any durability testing done on uber? Maybe nick can weigh in on expected life?

No problem! I have also used CQUK. I switched to Blackfire Crystal coat because it was more user friendly. Now that Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating is on the scene I will be most likely using this.

I would like too see it applied on glass and removed,I tend not to put anything on customers glass other than cleaning it,does it perform like rain x .

Nick has already stated longevity is up to 3 years. Shelf life of product once opened is up to 18 months.
