NEW FORMULA Ultima Paint Guard Plus!

The original wipe on, walk away paint sealant has been reformulated! The new formula promises more gloss and easier application. What's more, you can even use it on glass!

I just bought some UPGP a few weeks ago and it says for paint, chrome and glass" on the bottle. Does that mean it's the new formula? Either way I love this stuff for a quick shine and on glass it works a lot like RainX.

The new formula just arrived a couple days ago, so you have the old formula.

Now I need to try this since I have used all of the WOWA sealants (UPGP, OOS, BFCS, WGDGLS) and decided for me the BFCS & WGDGLS were the best. This new revised formula could change that. Nick I need a bottle stat.....

The transporter beam is down today so you'll have to wait a couple days for UPS to deliver it. :dblthumb2:

What was the durability of the prev UPG+?

What's the expected durability of the new UPG+?

The new one is water based and much easier to use. BUT its still very important to use conservatively when applying.

The end result with the new formula is that its easier to level high spots after application with a MF towel. Instead of them being set in the paint (like the old formula) , you are now able to wipe them away although not that easily as the product becomes a bit gummy or sticky if way (I mean going really overboard with the amount used) over applied and left to setup.

The directions on the back of the bottle say to spray directly onto applicator and NOT paint, but I actually found the product to be much easier to use and spread when doing the complete opposite. Spraying on the paint is not an issue IME.
