Hey everyone. New to the forums and somewhat new to detailing. I worked at a body shop for a while as a teenager and learned the basics of wet sanding, cleaning and buffing cars but after some research it all seemed to be very old school. After getting some tips from OCDetails and motoiq/chdetialing and getting my wife a "new" car I decided to take the plunge and bought a PC yesterday. Can't wait to try it out.

Yes indeed, many of us including myself log onto AGO from our phones via Tapatalk. This allows you to log in and view/reply instantly.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome Chris. The PC is a great polisher stay with pads 5.5" or smaller and you can do some awesome detail work with it.

:welcome: to AGO. Be sure to watch all of Mike P's how to videos on paint correction with the PC 7242 DA polisher. The videos really explain how to do correction.

:welcome: To Autogeek Online Chris! :props:

When I was much younger, back in the mid 70's to late 80's I did a fair amount of bodywork and painting. Compared to today what I worked with then is old school compared to today and advancements in technology has resulted in huge performance gains across the board.....

Spend some time reading articles written by Mike Phillips. Mike's done a super job at documenting every aspect of detailing to get you started on the right foot.
