Hey all,

I'm Ken from Dallas. Always been into keeping my car looking car show clean and recently took a job managing my buddys' Customs Shop Wash and Detailing services. So far its a very small operation, and we're just beginning to get our marketing going. Slowly business is building, very slowly.

Joined here to learn more, and hopefully grow as a Detailer. The amount of things I need to learn is immense and I look forward to learning from you all. :autowash:

Any advice for a new Detailer/Manager?

Since you're managing the operation focus on customer satisfaction. Be sure that everyone's doing things the same way and the correct way. Variation in any process will quality issues...

Thanks, yeah we are still working on "our" process. That and wanting to speed up our wash process so we have more time to focus on detailing.

This forum is a fantastic resource.
 
Ken, i'm Dane and I live in the Lewisville area. Are your guys experienced in machine polishing? I just bought a 2013 F150 and it's got some spiderwebs, i'd love to get it looking like new.
