Hey folks,

Finally after lurking for a few days I decided to sign up and join.

Like some, I thought I knew detailing and how to wash cars, so on and so forth, but upon coming here and doing more research I was wrong. I am correcting this though and look forward to learning more.

Besides that, I have a 1985 Pontiac Trans Am and a 1960 Beetle, both have been restored and kept up over the years.

Sorry, I like showing them off :)

Welcome BrandonB. Yes, you have signed on with some of the best teachers around. Tons of information and questions answered all day. Best part is you get different peoples takes on the same product under different applications.
I'm with you on thinking I had a grasp on the cleaning thing. Nice part is I actually had a good grasp but I learned new techniques and, more important, was introduced to new products or better products for the things I was doing.
Love the Bug as I drove a '69 for about 3 years but my envy is for the TransAm. A high school buddy had a red GTA that would literally ruin a set of Goodyears inside of a weekend. Always liked the body lines and the flares around the bottom.
Welcome aboard and I apologize in advance to your wallet....

Welcome aboard and nothing wrong with showing off your ride! Sounds like you've already learned and have adjusted your techiques, more will come, trust me!

Welcome Brandon! I enjoyed your VW vid immensely. Thanks for sharing that. I had a '62 Beetle in high school and seeing yours brought back a ton of memories. Nice looking TA too!
