Hey guys,

I've been lurking around here for awhile now picking up information on detailing and all the products out there. I've been detailing on the side for a few years now, but decided to start doing it full time so I can finish my marketing degree. The schedule is just a little more flexible than my current profession. Plus I can finally use the marketing skills I've learned to make myself a little money instead of someone else. I hope to be able to contribute back to the forum as much as I've learned from all of you already. Hope to see you around. :xyxthumbs:

Mike,

Best years ever when I went to Tulane and then stuck around for a couple years... Ahh I miss grabbing Parkway Po-Boys on demand! What area are you in? I lived in Uptown/University near Willow and Nashville.

Enjoy your education on this forum. I've learned so much about the art of detailing from this forum and Mike Phillips' books. What is your plan since almost no one has garages? Are you going to get a pop-up tent? Sorry for all the questions! Happy detailing!

I live just outside the city in the "burbs" Metairie to be exact. I currently work in the Warehouse district at the local Ducati dealer, and like I said trying to finish my degree at UNO, and I know what you mean about the Po-Boys got a little place right around the corner from me here called Shortstop. It's been there for 50 years some of the best local food in town.

As for the no garage question I already have a 10x10 ez-up but will most likely soon be upgraded to a 10x20. It's a challenge getting the car under the shaded portion of the tent at times. I did some light paint correction on a 370z the other day heat index of 112. I was happy to have at least some shade that day!
