Sonax is back to take this industry to a new level with CutMax and Pefrect Finish EX.




The CutMax is a new water based compound thats ready to hold a position at the top of the compound list. Cutmax has a maximum cut of 6 out of 6 and a gloss that falls right in the middle at 3 out of 6.

The New Perfect Finish is back with a vengeance and its ready to show what some of all ready know that Prefect Finish is a great all around polish. Now a water based polish and having a cut of 4 out of 6 and a gloss of 6 out of 6 Perfect Finish is a great way to make your car flawless and ready for those LSP's.

I will be doing a review of these this week and some point and I hope you are all impressed with what Sonax has come up with. I have had the pleasure of playing with these and they have blown me away.

CutMax and Perfect Finish EX are the official compound and polish of Air Force One!




 
Definitely interested in the new Perfect Finish Evan. Looking forward to your review. I am curious to see how it compares to the current version.
 
If "water based", what does CutMax use for lubricants.

Of the currently avail compounds, what would you compare it to?

It is very comparable if not better than FG400 and M101. The nice thing is that there is no powerful solvent smell like you have with M101 and FG400.
 
How's the working time of the CutMax when compared to FG400? Is it a compound that cuts fast with a small # of passes or slowly cuts over a period of time similar to FG400?

DAT or SMAT?

Cutmax is a wonderful compound! As said above it have almost no smell, lots of cut, good gloss, very easy to remove and almost as easy to use as Perfect finish.

SONAX has really improved their abrasive technology in the last 3-4 years. I've been impressed with all their new polishes and am looking forward to testing this new compound.


One thing for sure... it's easier now to get great results than it ever was and it's mostly due to the abrasive technology available today.
