Hello I am a new to the detailing business, I plan to do this on a part time bases. I am here to get advice on what I need to get started, I have a love for cars and like to take pride in everything I do. Since this is part time I will be working alone but I need to be fast simple and effective. Because of where I live I need to buy in bulk and user friendly I am open to suggestions but I plan to make a trip over to autogeek in the coming weeks purchase supplies thinking about the Meguairs Professional Detailer line. At present I have a '03 Astro that I need outfitted with equipment, I have a budget of $3000 to start with but bear in mind that I have custom duties to pay on items that I purchase can always add on later. My main concern will be my equipment and the tools I use please give any advice that I should buy that makes my work fast and simple but get the job done.I have alot of question so please bear with me.

Thanks
Lavarison

Welcome to AutoGeekOnline from Germany!

Meguiar's detailer line is great and will get you off on the right foot with quality products.

Good luck and be sure to ask AGO for their Bahamian Discount!!!!

welcome ! if you need any training in person , let me be the first to volunteer my services lol!

:welcome: to AutoGeek.

If you are buying tools I would suggest the you get 2 dual action polishers. I say this because you need a spare in case one stops working in the middle of your detail. I do recommend a flex 3401 as a primary unit. The Griots 6" with a 5" backing plate is a good iit to compliment the Flex. The Rupes line is also a good chioce. Lake Country pads are good choices. m105 and M205 are good choices for starting up.

Collinite 845 is a good long lasting sealant/ wax. There are a lot of choices out there for the LSP.

Best of luck in your part time endeavor . If you need help I could always come down and help. Just need a place to hang
