New Girl from Montreal

Welcome aboard Jaynie ! I live about an hour or so from Mtl .

Lots of stuff to learn in the forum !

:welcome: to the addiction! Love to see intros from Montreal. Having lived in Montreal and suburbs for 8 years (St-Anne de Bellevue going to John Abbott, and Cote St-Luc while attending McGill) I will always have a special place in my heart for the town and its people. Do me a favor and go eat a smoked meat sandwich at Schwartz for me.... and get a Poutine while at it.

Hi all and thank you for the warm welcome!

It's good to see some fellow Canadians on here. :)

@ Dr Pain. I went to both those schools myself. As a West Islander myself, it's nice to see someone else familiar with my neck of the woods. Shamefully, I haven't had any smoked meat or poutines in a while, I'll be rectifying that soon.

@ Puckman, @molarman. Yes, it was another win for the Habs. I hope they can keep it up. I'm not the biggest follower of hockey, but it's hard not to get caught up in it when you live in Montreal.

@ beamerstrumpet. Of that I have no doubt. With all the awesome products here, it will be an exercise in restraint for me.

And now for pictures. Please excuse my less than clean '09 Caliber. Between work, lab appointments and the crappy weather, I have yet to get in a good car wash. This is my first car; bought it from a family member who was upgrading. I'm not sure how to add images to my posts yet, so these are just attachments at the bottom.

Cheers!

Thanks, the lack of shine and general maintenance tips are exactly what I'm here for. :)

From the tiny pics, the paint does not look too bad, but the dull tires stick out like a sore thumb. A dressing is a quick and easy fix, but you have to use it relatively often. A coating lasts much longer, but the application can be arduous.
