New Griots 6 Inch Polish- New and Improved!

Too bad that Griot's does not take trade-ins for those of us that bought the OLD units! I'd love to have the new one, but no one would buy the old unit that I have. Maybe if it ever quits on me....

:idea::idea: Drop it a few times it will quit! ;);):D

I guess it works OK, but if I put the least bit of pressure on it, (much less the 15lbs + that some call for) I notice that the rotation stops. I mark the pads with a marker so that I can tell. The weight of the machine is about all it will take. Until I can justify getting the new model, I plan to go to a more aggressive polish (105 for instance) and more aggressive pads to compensate for the lack of torque in the motor.

I've owned it too long to be able to return it in good conscience. ;)

What am I bid for a slightly used gen-1 Griot's Orbital?

Just FYI I have two of the original 6" Griots Polishers that I can sell for $79.99 if anyone is interested. They are new in box, never opened just the original model not the one we have for sale on the site. PM me if you are interested.
