New Guy at FLEX

That's great news Eric!, I'm fan/supporter/user/etc of both LC and Flex Products, a match made in Heaven. That said, as long as you're Happy we are wishing you all the best in this new journey.

It's exciting (to say the least) to know the Pad Man will now know serve the Polisher Men.

Congratulations, and please let us updated.

Kind Regards, from Brazil.

Eric,
Did the Flex "mini" or whatever it is being called get released yet?

PE8 is the name and yes it has been delivered. Not sure why you would by a 14 now.

Eric, see if there is a way to make the 1" and 2" pads not compress as much as they do. First section they work great with little applied liquid. However after the first section or strip the pads compress just under the weight of the machine and especially for the 1" getting any tight corners is slightly dangerous. Especially with the extension. The larger the pad the less the extension is an issue of course. Love the machine, brought joy to me over the past few days. Got areas of my car that I couldn't get corrected in the past.

Actually it's not the PE8... I'm looking for a mini version of the 3401 that we saw at SEMA. Flex was using 1 and 2" pads with it.

I remember that picture you shared in another thread. It was actually the Flex 3403 that's been out for a while.

Maybe I'm mistaken but check out some pics of the 3403

I was thinking it may have been the 3403, but it's literally a miniature version of the 3401. The 3403 is the same size as the 3401, just lighter I believe.

Mystery!!!

O cool I could of sworn it was the 3403.

A mini 3401 would be sweet!

Eric you taking notes?

:)

lol, Yes I am taking notes. We are always open to new ideas to make everyones job easier.

Eric, would it be possible to get these into the states?

Congratulations man, I'm very happy for you.
I bought my Flex 3401 three weeks ago.
Loving this beast.
It's used everyday in my shop without once giving me problems.

Good Luck:dblthumb2:

+1 for the Flex Mug/Glasses
Also Flex decals to rep in the garage/shop/business would be awesome!

I ordered a Flex last week and waiting for it to arrive. As a complete newbie I'm reading the forums to learn as much as I can. I found a mention of a Limited Edition PINK Flex, and I'm wondering why pink, and why limited? I would have LOVED the option of buying a nice pink one - although purple is my favorite color, at least pink is a little less garage-y looking. (And yes, I'm female, in case you were wondering.) Thanks.

You will love the Flex! I'm a small woman and have great control with it.
FYI: here's a link to the pink one:
Flex XC 3401 VRG Dual Action Orbital Polisher Limited Edition!

I think it was maybe for Breast Cancer Awareness? Not sure why it was put out, but that's my guess :dblthumb2:

hi Monica! So glad to hear that! I'm petite but have good hand-eye coordination, and I mastered a rotary sander so hoping it's at least less dusty…!

I didn't realize there was a Pink Flex until today! So bummed - would have loved the pink one. I got the Flex Intro kit that came with a Flex bag and some pads for only $20 more. They should do a Pink option of that kit too.
