Just thought I'd introduce myself. I just bought a Perfect Starter Kit Porter Cable 7424XP and put it to good use yesterday on my (oxidized, etched, and scratched) black 1997 240SX. I used a Meguires Clay Bar kit, some Meguires Ultimate Compound, and then some NXT wax (I just bought it locally to give it all a shot). I had some very good results, but I am looking forward to using some Pinnacle products in the future. I have to get some different compound and the coarser pads for the S14 though - the paint is still pretty ragged from many years of neglect (some of it is too rough and needs to be repainted). Of course, it rained tonight before I could get any pictures of it all nice and shiny!
The 240 was my test to see how the PC works out and I am very happy with the results and I am looking forward to using it on my wife's silver X5 (which has very good paint on it and will look great).
