Been reading/researching here for a few months now and am finally ready to get started!
The 2 main cars I'll be doing are my 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche(black) and my wifes 2010 Chevrolet Equinox(black). They are in decent condition but have swirls and maybe a few light scratches.
I've ordered the following materials -
Porter Cable I got on craigslist for $70..looks brand new.
6 LC flat 5.5" pads and a backing plate
Poorboys SSR1
Poorboys SSR2.5
Chemical guys Blacklight
Chemical guys V7
Poorboys leather stuff
3 pack of the "miracle" towels, and 2 guzzlers for drying.
2 grit guards.
I've got Griots soap and Griots claybar/speed shine that I will be doing before I start polishing.
Hopefully this will get me where I want to be, now I just need some free time!
