Hi All - Looking forward to learning from folks around here. I just purchased a BMW X3, and wanted to start off using quality products and doing it right to keep it looking good for as long as possible. Just recently ordered a Forum Favorite Kit, along with a Wolfgang CockPit Clean and Protect Kit.

Anyone have any advice on how long to wait before actually applying anything to the new paint? Car was just built about a month ago, and I've only had it since Friday, but wanted to make sure I don't start waxing, etc too early in the event the paint needs more time to cure.

Thanks for any advice/input.

Welcome! The NC folks are sure showing up now!

Hello and welcome from Hendersonville. You should be good to go on waxing your car.

Welcome from the Western part of NC. If it was built over a month ago you should be fine. The Wolfgang line is some great products and you will not be disappointed with them at all. Enjoy reading the forum and post any and all questions there is a wealth of knowledge here.

Welcome from Morrisville/RDU.

New cars go through a process to cure the paint faster. You are good to go.

Welcome from Charlotte! If you're around, you're welcome to use some of my things :)

Welcome to AutoGeekOnline from Germany! Congrats on the new BMW!

With brand new vehicles you can wax the paint the day you pick it up from the dealer. Waiting to wax thee paint for 30 days or longer only applies to repaints.

Welcome jetfan! Congrats on a fine machine. What color did you get?
