Joined a little while back but never got around to doing anything. Really just have some questions and looking for advice, but that will all be posted in the correct section(s).

I have three black cars, with my pride and joy being a 2011 Mustang GT. That's really why I'm here, to learn how to better take care of this extremely tricky color.

Hi Slow,

Welcome to AutogeekOnline! :welcome:

Black is the hardest color to keep looking perfect but the color that makes a car look its best when it's perfect.

I have an article on this...

"Black is not a color, it's a full time job"

The most important thing is don't skimp on abrasive technology, that's your choice of compounds, polishes and even cleaner/waxes.

Also, once you get the paint to where you like it you need to learn how to "touch" it including washing it to avoid future scratches.

You'll find great guys on here always willing to help including myself...

Here's two tips...

How to write a good title for your thread

A tip to help yourself get great answers when you start a thread

Hi, welcome to AutoGeekOnline!

As Mike said, black is not a color, it is a full time job. I have two black vehicles as well.
