Welcome!! You started out with a great machine.
For polishing if you use Lake Country, I would go with the Hybrid pads. You can get away with three colors: orange, white, and black.
You can read this thread on using this with Menzena/Wolfgang polishes but concepts apply to others. Polishing is like any craft some figure it out quickly and some take longer to understand. The usual issue is what do you do next if something does not work as expected - change pad, change polish, modify technique, etc. This is where experience comes in.

This helped take some of the guess work out of the equation. Thank you...used the machine for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed my experience with it. Baby steps here until I can establish a system of products and pads that works for me And then develop and hone my techique. I will attend a boot camp as well.....looks like a fun time...thanks again. I appreciate everyone taking the time to respond.
