I registered a little while ago and have been lurking around.

Since its been snowing since early this morning I got some extra time on my hands and figured Id introduce myself

My name's Bill im 21 and live in Boyertown PA (about 45min west of Philly)

Ive always been interested in cars and detailing has interested me for a while.
I started cleaning up my cars and then the ocasional family or friend's car.

ever since I cleaned up my 94 ranger and brought the paint from a dull pink (oxidization) back to the Red/ Orange i was definately hooked

Ive been slowly teaching myself and my work now compared to then shows ive learnt at least a little lol

I now have a 02 Altima 3.5SE MT in Velvet Beige and Blonde leather interior (I wish it was black)

I just got a Griot Garage 6" DA and im practicing on a friends cavalier beater before I try it on my car and others cars

if there's anyone in PA that wants to show a beginner the ropes let me know

Hi Bill, Welcome to The forum. I am just south of Harrisburg, I would guess a little over 1 hour from where you are. Feel free to PM me if you like. I may be able to give you a hand. I would really say just keep reading here and other sites and keep practicing, Post up your Ideas and get some constructive feedback. That is what these forums are here for.

Hi Bill, wecome to AG forum. I'm from Bensalem Pa. How are you liking all the snow we got? I just picked up the PC7424XP a couple month ago, makes paint correction and detailing alot easier. Practice with different polish & pad combo's, until you find one you are happy with. Have fun.

im a summer guy

I cant really drive anywhere and if I do my car is filthy and theres no point in cleaning it bc its gonna be just as filthy the next day

at least I got a heated garage to work in lol

That is nice to have the heated garage. my car is in the cold until spring.
 
Welcome Bill. Your sure to enjoy all the info available here and great members who always try to offer help when asked. Sounds like you got yourself a nice machine to start out with, but be aware, the addiction is about to grab hold of you.

Oh its grabbed a hold alright lol

to me and my wallet...

im very glad I got the heated garage to work in and im really grateful to have a garage to park my car in every night

it was definitely nice not having to clear any snow off my car when I wanted to drive around yesterday
