Hey AutoGeeks,
I've been lurking here for almost a year now, (no newb to forums) and the other day I read the 'You know you're an autogeek when...' thread and realized I had to sign up :xyxthumbs:
I've been seeing swirls everywhere lately...
A little about me..
I'm a 26 year old male who recently got into detailing - I had detailed a bit at a previous job but a year ago I got an opportunity at the company I was at.. I worked for an auto service shop and they decided to open a car sales and detailing business on the side.
I am the do-it-all employee - I am licensed to sell used cars, we are a quick-lube facility with 2 hoists so I am the oil change expert; I oil spray (rustproof) cars, and of course we are a full service detailing facility.
I get the benefits of someone else footing the bill on the 4500 square foot facility I have full access to (and greatly appreciate; I work hard to get that as well
)
I have all the toys - 2 rotary buffers (Makita and Dewalt) and a Megs DA but are currently using AutoValet Products. ( I am here partially to up my personal detailing arsenal)
I drive (and love) a 2001 VW Golf 1.8T that I got a great deal on recently, it's in need of a good detailing that will be shared.
I am also lucky enough to have a gf who also details cars.
