Hey guys, I have been reading so much from this forum I might as well should introduce myself. My name is Ryan and I am a part time newbie in the detailing world. I own a 2006 Dodge Magnum and 2010 Infiniti G37 and I try to keep both in perfect condition as I can. I also detail for my car club as well in my area (still building a portfolio for my business). Here are a few pics I took from my detail session this weekend.
Time for competion: 14 hours
Products used were:
Washed with Meguiars Gold Class (using two bucket method)
Clayed with the Meguiars Clay Kit
Compound with Ultimate Compound using PC7424XP and Orange CCS Foam Pad
Followed up with Ultimate Polish with Blue CCS Foam Pad
Sealed with Red CCS Foam Pad and Meguiars NXW 2.0 Tech Wax (Liquid)
Let the sealant cure for 24 hours then boosted with Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax
Tires Dressed with Meguiars Hot Shine Foam (with all excess wiped off by hand)
Wheels also sealed with NXT 2.0 and boosted by Ultimate Quick Wax
All in all I feel pretty confident in that it was my first time to ever use a DA machine. Before I was applying these compounds by hand and years of that got tiring. The last two pics are right after claying and before any prep work. Anyways on to the pics and let me know how I did!
Not sure how this happened but theres no streaking or holograms, just a little lensflare.
