Getting this truck sparked my interest in detailing. Exspecially since black is a tuff color to keep clean, I was doing some research and came across this site. So here I am

Greetings Ray, congrats on your new ride. Lots of info here on keeping the truck like-new. If this is your first black vehicle that you've attempted to keep looking sharp you're about to discover black isn't a color, it's a part-time job.

There's advice and points of view all over the detailing spectrum on just about any subject. Here's my truck-specific $.02 that I learned the hard way. After spending a lot of time on my last two pickup trucks working on the roof from the bed or attempting a balancing act standing on the door sills the best money you'll ever spend is to pick up a mini-scaffold from Lowe's, Home Depot or wherever. About 4 ft long and 24 - 30 inches high.... around 40 bucks or so. Believe me, ypu'll thank me later. :xyxthumbs:

Nice Ride and welcome!!

I'd love to see some pics of the new truck, but don't worry, you'll become ADDICTED to keeping it perfect if you hang around here for a bit.
