Hey everyone, name is Scott. Just joined up to get some more info, learn about different products and also offer some insight when I can. I detail for personal use and some friends or neighbors cars when they ask. I'm currently moving from myrtle beach, sc to Greensboro, nc. I mostly use Adams products and some 105/205 with LC pads and currently use a PC. I am not very active on detailing forums but I am hoping to change that. Some things I am looking to research are a detail spray/pad primer, a compound between 105/205 (or substitutes for humid areas), a wax and sealant, glass cleaner.

Also looking to add a rotary to my tools, looking at the Flex, but the rupes has my attention.

Well i am going to get to reading and researching. Thanks

Says who? Some products (i.e. M105) get quite a bit of assistance from spray detailer.

Oh, only some of the top detailers in the world. Seeing as how this is his backyard though, ask Mike Phillips if it's not better in general to prime the pad with the abrasive product it's self rather than water or another liquid. If his answer is anything besides agreement then he has a ton of YouTube videos to take down and remake.

There are other HUGE names in the detailing world that agree. I simply used Mike as an example since this is AG and he works for them.

Besides, there are techniques to use with products like M105 that are much better than priming the pad with QD.
