Hey everyone,

Just thought I would make my first post. I am new to AG and this addiction known as detailing. I live in Auburn, AL and have been reading the forum for awhile and decided to dive in. I drive a 1996 Black on Black SVT Cobra with good paint(common swirls/couple of minor scratches) and wanted to see what I could do to make it pristine. I have been acquiring some products over the past couple of months based on the research I have done on this board. Here is what I have bought so far to prepare for Spring:

PC 7424-I am purchasing a CCS pad kit this week
Zaino Z-7 Car Wash
Zaino Z-18 Clay Bar
Menzerna SIP and 106FF
Zaino Z-2 Pro
Zaino Z-CS
Zaino Z-8 Grand Finale
Zaino Z-10 Leather in a Bottle
Variety of Cobra microfiber

I have been studying all of the techniques discussed and hope it gives me the look I want. What do you all think??? Good start??? Any and all feedback is appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you. I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!!!
 
Welcome to the boards... looks like your off to a good start, I'm not that familiar with Zaino, but I know it's very popular.

WELCOME!! Looks like you have done your homework. Those products will definately produce great results with the proper technique. I am not a huge Zaino fan but they make a decent product. O-also, having lived in Tuscaloosa for 20+ years ROLL TIDE!!! Just joking around man! Post pics before and after!!!
 
Thanks for the warm welcome. I will definitely post before and after pics. I will continue to build my arsenal of products, I love to try new stuff. I used the Ultima sample kit from Autopia before Winter. It worked great and has held up fairly well. I want to really get the paint looking great, so I am stripping it down and doing it right. I want to see how Z-CS compares to UPGP. I have seen so much conflicting info.

6 in row...Auburn/Alabama thing....7 is on the way!!!:cheers:
