New guy with some pics

The counterweight was attached but i did not attach the washer so I'm pretty sure it's the washer but I won’t know for sure until tomorrow. I'll let you know if it works or not.

OK,I’ve got the whole washer PC thing figured out. :applause:

I honestly couldn't understand why a small washer would make such a difference and actually thought it was just an extra part. The washer simply prevents the rivets on top of the backing plate from hitting the counterweight. That’s it! So I’m anxious to try the PC out this weekend and hopefully enjoy using it a little more this time!

Hopefully this will help someone else.

Just don't tell your girlfriend you couldn't get your tool to work right. I told mine and she said she's known that for years:confused:

Crap, now you've got me worried about the washer! But my PC has been working well since I started using it, so I'm just going to assume I did it right the first time around!

Can you post some pics of it?

I'll post some pics, but any washer that fits the backing plate and is at least 1/8 in thick will work. just take the plate to your local hardware store and find a couple washer that fit.

The washer is the key to PC bliss. Should be the first thing that is listed and in big bold letters. Put Washer on backing plate before using.

The first time is always an ackward experience though. You think you are doing it right but your not.
