New guy

Here's to the longest self-perpetuating thread of all time!

I wish I could keep them both, but I'm not it that place in life. The S is a spectacular performer - down on power compared to plenty of cars out there, but the experience driving it more than makes up for it - but it's also not an easy car to live with as a sole DD; it's raw, I hardly fit in it, you can't carry a conversation inside of it, and there's no trunk space. For me, it's a selfish little beast for a single person. Reckon I've done some growing over the past 12 months. I don't like having to rely on others and having to borrow my gf's H3 to go to Costco and run other errands has gotten old. Having a trunk with a passable rear seat will come in handy when I have my sister's kids fly in town.

I've been fortunate enough to own a grip of truly fun cars, all of which excelled at one thing or another. I've never owned a muscle car, however, and as a red blooded 'Merican male, the thought of a powerful V8 strapped to a 6 speed RWD platform has been eating at me since I was a kid. In fact, just typing this is getting me all fired up and has me wanting to break out the BBQ pit tonight. I'm all tingly.

Welcome to Autogeek.IMO I would have kept the s2000.
