hey

i own a dark green metalic tundra with some big scratches and a1993 white toyota mr2 with over 300 thousand miles. Both are in need of detailing help so thats why i'm here.
thanks and i'll be checking out the forums for help

:welcome: To AGO! you have come to right place for help.....we ARE here to help.

Welcome! Always liked that body style MR2. Ahh, the love/hate relationship with white paint. Lots of great info and great people here.

Welcome! There's a lot of info here, but don't get overwhelmed. Read the basics (detailing 101 and Freq Asked Questions, anything by Mike Phillips are good places to start). I would seriously consider buying mike phillps books...cleared a lot up for me.
Basics to get down:
- two bucket method
-claying (nanoskin)
- protection (sealant and/or wax)
Don't worry about the high end products at first, when your getting starting Megs, Poorboys, Prima are good. Put your money into Microfiber towels and a DA.
Once you come up with a routine i.e. thorough detail vs. maintenance, and you can stick to it, then invest in some of the higher end products. If you have a question, research a little and ask for clarification or PM a member (everyone here has been excellent when responding to PMs).

Welcome,

My only advice is to read as many threads that pertain to your specific needs or interests. Oh, and read ALL of Mike's threads, videos & books. Have fun & take care.

Peace,

Darrin

thanks everyone for the advice and the great welcome. i will get some pics of that mr2 posted hopefully this weekend. i will definetly be checking out the book by mike philips.
thanks
