Art, I'm really digging your videos! I like the how you shoot and edit them. Great choice of music, incorporation of the pictures, and everything. Keep 'em coming, man. :righton:
 
Very creative dude!

You should consider dropping down to your knees or on one knee instead of being hunched over so long. I started doing that recently and it's been saving my bad back ever since
 
Regarding music, Renny Doyle mentions not using copyrighted music in our videos in his book. I don't think it will create much of a problem in terms of the artist asking you to remove it or anything but Youtube might remove the video for copyright infringement.

In my videos I have used royalty free music so far. Not as good but I don't have to worry about them being removed.

Just a thought...

I actually called Google which owns youtube now. (I' sure a lot of you already know this) After reading what you wrote calandyr. They said I could always go look at their support page. They said I might be ok since it is just for entertainment purposes. However, it might get red flagged and the music could eventually be muted. Thanks for the tip calendyr. Where can I go this free music?
 
I was thinking that if we have another SoCal meet up, I can make a video like this of the whole event. (Well for the most part)

I wouldn't worry too much about the music, Art. Your videos are clearly for entertainment use and it falls under the Fair Use Doctrine of Copyright Law. Keep 'em coming!
 
Also, and this is just my opinion, I really like the stop-motion. I know you said you're going to move on to videos when you get a tripod, but you should continue to do some stop-motion to awesome music like you are now.

It's certainly a welcome change with all the more traditional videos being produced right now. Even if you go that route, I'd like to see you do one-offs every once in a while, too. Just my opinion. Keep up the good work.

I actually think I am going to continue doing that style. It lets me complete a whole task and put it in one clip.

I'll just keep picking music I like and put it in my clips. Besides actually detailing, picking the song is the next best part. :D Since I am a musician.

I was thinking about doing my lady's headlights and "I Think" I might have found the song to go with the clip Lol

Plus I have never seen other time lapse video that are shot like that. Well not Detailing ones. (Are there any out there?)

So I guess Billy Joel or Zapp and Roger asked the Audio to be muted, YouTube will take down the song, then I can dispute it and take them to court, dispute it, more steps, etc...

I won't mind if they take down the music they can have it. These videos are just for fun, if i do ever make a video for sales. I'll make sure to use all my own content. Video and audio

I posted my video on AGO, MOL and my FB. I think I got very few views out of the Muggles (non detailers, got that term from another AGO member lol)
