Detailing has been my major hobby for many years. I recently retired, so I needed an additional interest. I had some RC models as a kid, but was blown away by what's out there now. It's a quadcopter called the Nano QX. $90.00 for the ready to fly kit is the most fun per dollar I've seen in years. I learned about it here: NEW Blade Nano QX - RC Groups
It's great for flying indoors, but I added some extra protection for the props.

Well, that didn't last long. It was great fun, but now my Nano is so high in a tree I can barely see it. [wind swept] It was enough fun for me to order another one.
