New hydrophobic paint system

This is the first I've heard of it, but I figured it was only a matter of time before someone created this:

It's great that it'd be extremely easy to clean/maintain, but by the same token; products like this would start taking away jobs from the detailers that do washes for a living...

Maybe someone had already posted about this, but I'm interested to see what everyone's thoughts are on this.

There was a similar product out about 5 years ago....it was supposed to repair minor scratches by the sun repairing it.....I am still waiting. Nissan is making this so called water or dirt repellant paint, however, they said maybe it would be better suited for aftermarket. I think it will be successful just like the scratch proof paint system...ie I think your job is safe!!

Yeah its a good thing for our car care.Its very useful in now a days,I also used it on my workshops for many cars.I like this paint.You talk about that 5 years ago a scratch remover and this type of formulas are use in the denting and painting of car.But that hydrophobic paint is much better than those formulas.
