New Jeep Sealant Options

Bought a new Grand Cherokee...looks flawless but has a few minor blemishes. Looking for opinions on what to use to seal the paint. Not sure what to use brand new paint/clear coat...thought about the Opticoat 2.0 but I have absolutely no experience with this product.

Please feel free to chime in on this!!

Opticoat is a great choice and not that difficult. If you want a semi-permanent sealant that is extremely easy to apply, consider Opti seal. If you want to have a brilliant shine and replace every few months, you can't beat Black Fire Wet Diamond.
 
Opti-Coat 2.0

Here is the overview of the first time I used Opti-Coat on my new vehicle. I had really never used anything other than paste/liquid waxes prior to doing this. You will want to remove the defects prior to opti-coating. It will most definitely bring to light any imperfections in the paint or in my case, imperfections in the clear bra.
 
As per previous poster..Opti-Seal, you can do the entire car to a flawless, user-proof finish in less than 10 minutes. Than you can maintain with Optimum Spray wax in another 10 minute application. Its the best use of your time.

Dont be fooled by the other processes that can take 3+ hours, unless of course you have nothing but time on your hands.

If there is a better product combo that can get the above results in the same time I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW!!?!??!?!

There are allot of great sealants out there and some require more work and time than others. These are just a few high quality sealants I've used with great success! :props:

I apply nearly all my sealants with my Porter Cable 7424 polisher. Prima Hydro-Seal and Ultima Paint Guard Plus are the two exceptions here..

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is a permanent hard coating. Once it's applied and cured the only way to remove it is to polish it off. Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 isn't very difficult to apply and if you follow the instructions it goes on easily.

Prior to the application of any protective coating finish preparation is key to producing a gorgeous wet long lasting shine....
 
Thanks all!! Appreciate the inputs...Thank you on clearing me up on the Opti-Coat...I was a little apprehensive about the "permanent" statement. So technically it will come off with some serious polishing? The Jeep is mint at the moment and I want to seal it to keep it that way for a while. I have on-hand some Wolfgang and Merzerna...but will opt the Opti-coat when the weather gets warmer in Maryland.
