New Job

Dealers don't care the only goal is to get it clean and sell it as fast as possible thats the bottom line. Even high end dealers are the same way I can't tell you how many times I fix what dealers do to high end cars its really sad.

I disagree on this. They do care but they really have no clue as to what a real detail is, mostly because the don't pay enough to have someone that cares working for them. I suspect most of the people in charge of dealers came in from the sales / office side rather that the mechanic / detailer side, which is why they don't know.

I told the guy that interviewed me that it can take a couple of days to detail one car, which he knows from working on his own car.

Somehow I have a feeling I'll be like this :buffing:

i use to work at a high end car dealership . hey it doesent matter if you do one car or twenty a day it all pays the same. i spent two days on a sl 500 that was new of the truck for the showroom came out great .

First day went ok. To show how much they use buffers before I started..no one knew if the one that had worked.

They need a lot of help, only that don't know that yet :)

What's the latest at your new job there AeroCleanse? How is it going?
