i got my new lens today...cost me a pretty penny ..but well worth it....i start classes monday..ill be going to some baseball games and on the field..so i needed a good lens....i havent posted any details...the internet at my appt. is just way to slow...it would take forever...i am still detailing and i have the scion xb with all my stickers and everything on it...ill be taking pictures soon...hope eveyone is doing ok...sorry i havnt posted much..just been really busy...heres the pic of the lens

Don't know much about photography but that looks pricey. But, nice.

That is the 70-200mm right? if so, great lens - My brother-in-law has a 30D and this is one of his lenses...Fast and sharp. Make sure to invest in a monopod though, it's a beast and weights a ton.

with that lens you will be able to take good pics of cars you detail.:D
Great buy, but I know it's pricey.
 
I hope you wont be looking thru my windows with that thing (background -- wife pull the shades and quickly)
 
how much if you do not mind me asking ? i am frantically trying to find a camera and lens to take some decent pics at my first FSU Football Game!!! :D

A Canon 70-200m F4 is around 500.00.-600.00, but the faster F2.8 will cost you ~1200.00 for non IS and ~1800.00 for the one with IS. If you are shooting outside in the sun, youd'd be fine with the 70-200mm F4.
 
ya i got the f2.8 non is and it was 1200...and that was at a local family owned store...so it was a pretty good deal...wolf camera was almost 1400
