This is the same guy that bashed Pinnacle products including Crystal Mist, but it was good enough to use on a Saleen with a $50k paint job.

Depending on your definition of "bashed".....

Surf city garage is like 2 minutes away from my house right by JE pistons. I'll be looking forward to trying these product. :D

And I was thinking our Surfer started his own line...You know the one from Boca Raton, FL....:D

Sparkie, I'm worred about Surfer. I think something might have happen to him. I think Meghan knows but she's not making any comments.
Someone emailed me a picture of a surfer doll with a punch of pins in it. I hope he's ok.

I hope this isn't Surfer's fate:

Congratulations to AG for bringing in another line of products for us to choose from. I know a lot goes into adding a new line and that there must be some extensive product testing before AG adds it to their line-up. The Surf City Garage products must have passed with flying colors. I'm looking forward to seeing the reviews and hearing members thoughts on this line.

Thanks to all of the AGers who worked on this, we appreciate that you're always adding new and exciting things for us.
:applause:

Dont look impressive, as in packaging, have you tried them, inside info... just curious on how you came to this conclusion?

unfortunately we have a couple forum members that find it easier to bash a product versus actually trying it. I can honestly say I am game, and lord knows I have tried more than my share of products. New line ... bring it on !

Why bash...why why why. I didnt bash the company, just stated that from what I read they didnt impress me. NEVER did I say that their products sucked, never. So please use correct terminology. I didnt bash them.

I use to drive past their shop for 2 years going to school. I've seen people washing a giant trailer in that industrial area too, but never knew what it was until now.

Hopefully you don't judge the product by its label/price. No brainer this new line won't be competing with Pinnacle, but could easily fit with Clearkote, Poorboy's, and Duragloss.

wanna see some reviews...

Im glad the store is nearby! I get so jealous of AG peeps saying, "yea I went by the store today....."

Looks like a nice line. The virtual tour is really nice on their website. Makes me wanna go there, but I don't know how far Huntington Beach is from San Diego :p. If Meghan says it's a good line, it must be a good line! AG's experiences with products never fail me :D

Because Your Ride's Worth It!

Surf City Garage was founded in Huntington Beach, California by Tim Miller, an entrepreneur with a passion for muscle cars. Tim’s love of cars began in 1970 when Tim bought his first car, a 1967 Pontiac GTO with a 400 and a 4-speed. The foundation of Surf City Garage was laid that year as Tim started racing on the weekends at Southern California’s many tracks.

Three decades later, Tim has amassed a collection of 100 vintage muscle cars in his retro ‘50s-style garage. Everything from a ’54 Polo White Corvette, the original ‘Vette, to a 66 Shelby GT-500 is on display at Surf City Garage. The garage is divided into sections by type of car: Corvette Corner, Shelby Showroom, Chevrolet Way, and MOPAR Alley. With all these classic cars, Tim’s staff of professional detailers stays busy with cleaning, polishing, and waxing these beauties to perfection.

At regional and national car shows, you can see Surf City Garage products and their cars firsthand. A 53 ft. trailer emblazoned with the Surf City Garage logo hauls 6 restored muscle cars from the garage’s collection to events like the Los Angeles Roadster Show and the Great Labor Day Car Cruise.

After thirty years of collecting and restoring automobiles, Tim has developed a sense of what works and what doesn’t when it comes to car care products. Mass-produced products sold by marketing companies just don’t measure up, so Tim hired a chemist and produced his own products to meet his high standards. The first was a carnauba wax, now called Barrier Reef Carnauba Wax. The wax worked like a dream so the garage next developed a chrome polish. The garage used these products exclusively on their own vehicles for 3 years before they decided to make them available to the public. Now you can use the same products on your vehicle that are used everyday in the Surf City Garage.

Surf City Garage products really embody what car care is all about: enjoyment and pride in one’s vehicle, and a touch of nostalgia for the cars that first caught our eyes. With these products, you can keep your dream car looking its best just like they do everyday at the Surf City Garage.

Damn skippy! I actually really liked the packaging when I saw it! Certainly don't judge a product by it's packaging (ie: Poorboys World). You have to remember too that most product descriptions are written by professional writers and the tend to "fluff" things up a bit. I like the straightforward approach---let the product performance speak for itself!!!!! I'm ready for those samples now:D (hint)
