New Meguiar's MF Pads

I was watching the new Video Mike put out 2 days ago and these new microfiber pads seems really nice.

I am curious about using them on a Rupes Bigfoot 21. Has anyone at Autogeek tried it? Also what size will they come in? There was 2 sizes in the video but I did not notice them talking about it. Maybe I missed it but one looked like a 3 inch and the other one maybe a 5.5?
 
If I'm not mistaken, Mike Stoops or another Meguiars rep said it's the same microfiber material as the other pads but the difference was there's no foam in between that and the Velcro. Packaging also states best used on flat surfaces. Which leads me to my biggest problem with the Rupes which are curved panels. That combination would be impossible for me to use on my vehicle and other vehicles with a lot of concave curves

Yep, that's a big orbit for curvy panels. That's why i bought the Rupes lhr15 es. Much easier to maneuver.

I wanted to revive this thread. I am purchasing the 6in xtra cut but cant seem to find the 3in. Could someone from Autogeek possibly chime in? If I can get ahold of the 3in I think they would work wonders on headlights! Thanks!

3" Xtra Cut are not available at this time, only Cutting and Polishing.

I use the 3" Cutting on a PC and it cuts pretty darn well with Meguiar's D300. The energy of the machine is focused on a much smaller area with 3" pads, so I am not sure that a 3" Xtra Cut is even necessary.

I agree! For a 3" pad, there's really no need for any more cut than the regular cut MF pads provide.
