New Meguiar's pads on Meguiar's Power system

Can the "new" Meguiar's pads work on the DA power system or do you have to use the specific pads? I think I know the answer but got the question. Thanks.

The DA power system can only use the smaller diameter pads. So the new one's will not work unless you cut them to size.
