Hi Meghan, do you guys have a corresponding detailer sprayer bottle?

Not been offered up yet, not sure if they have it, but I will check on it for you.

Anybody tried it yet? if so what is it comparable to I would think it is a challenger to DG AW.

Hey Meghan,

I hear Meguiar's will unveil it's new product line for 2011 in about 9 days or so, any insight as to what they'll be presenting?

Hi Meghan, do you guys have a corresponding detailer sprayer bottle?

I'm impressed by Meg's Ultimate Spray Wax. So I think I'm going to purchase X-press in the gallon size.

Can someone recommend a good sprayer/bottle for spray waxes?

I have the gallon of the New Synthetic X-press Spray Wax and I use this bottle.

However, the above bottle comes with a different sprayer than the red and white one pictured. The bottle actually comes with the gray Meguiar's sprayer that is pictured in the photo below. The gray sprayer has a nice fine mist which I like.

So how do you like the product Mr. B and what would you compare it to?

I like it, but I have only had a chance to use the new spray wax one time since I got it last week due to the cold temperature. It seems to work exactly like the Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax that I have used in the past.

According to Meguiar's it is exactly the same as Ultimate Quik Wax, with exception to the fragrance.

I love this product and put it right next to Ultimate Quick Wax from Megs. I use this sole and separate after drying and I use it when the car is still wet and for who know how or why but my MFs tend to pick up more water and finish streak free!
This product on glass and rims is also a win!

yeah those chemical resistant grey sprayheads are great. there just about the only sprayhead one would need, you turn it to one side and get a fine mist and then the other way for like a jet like spray pattern. been using those for years with good results...

sounds like another cool product ..

Definitely a cool product. I know I like it. :D

I got a chance to use it for the second time today.

My truck was white from all the salt and sand from the roads around here, so since it got up into the 40's today I went to the car wash and pressure washed all the salt and sand off of my truck. I then went home and used Optimum No Rinse and washed my truck. Before I dried the truck off I misted on the new Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax. It says right on the gallon jug that you can use it on a wet vehicle while drying it off if you want. I have never done this with any product before so I figured I would give it a try. So after misting it onto the wet panel, I proceeded to dry my truck off with my Waffle Weave Microfiber drying towel. It was noticeably easier to dry as it seemed to suck up the water from the surface better than if I would not have misted the spray wax onto the panel first. I was surprised by this. You could actually see the beads of water start to run off the sides of my truck ever so slightly once I misted the spray wax onto the truck. It was almost like it was releasing the surface tension of the water slightly I would guess. After I dried it off, I misted it on the truck again real light for a second time and followed up with a separate dry microfiber towel for the final touch to make sure I got everything. I really like how the new spray wax worked. I think it's my new favorite product.

Here is my truck after just a simple ONR wash and then dried with the new Synthetic X-press Spray Wax. The truck looks good in the photo, but it looks even better in person, though. Red is tough to photograph sometimes to capture the true look.

It's still looking good for an almost 7 year old daily driver with 175,000 miles. :coolgleam:

Meghan,

What is the difference between this product and Ultimate Quik Wax? Both are synthetic so it appears that neither contains carnauba. Why/what makes this one better....or is it? Care to help us out here with an explanation? It does appear that the new product costs considerably less.

According to Meguiar's the two products are the same. The only difference is they changed the color, smell and the packaging (larger quantity size) for the professional user.

It doesn't have the awesome Strawberry scent? I love walking back into my garage after i get done using it, it smells like Hubba Bubba!
