don't know. Ever since I tried Poorboy's, then Pinnacle twins, XMT, Optimum, and last Menzerna Polishes, - I will never go back to Meguiar's.
menzerna sure cost a pretty penny, but you get what you pay for. It wiorks faster, better, saving you lots of time.

Could it be talking about the release of their new buffer?

They are new products of Meguiar's. They are both compounds and have more cut than previous versions (12 cut on Megs scale)

There are quite a few new Meguiars products coming out in January and can be researched on the meguiars board

Menzerna is cheaper than Meguiars in Australia, $27 dollars for a litre
meguiars have nothing that impresses me and I find it amazing that I can come up with a virtually permanent solution to a certain problem area on late model cars but all their money and chemists can come up with is something that lasts about a week.

I agree, and won't go back to ANY of the other polishes. If I can't get it done with Menzerna polishes, then it probably needs a re-paint! :D

:iagree: I'm a novice at polishing but Menzerna has made it easy!

Have anyone tried Solo from Meguiar's? What do you think?

Most auto paint stores sell Meguiars and or 3M - for good reason, in the right hands, Megs works just as well as every other line out there, probably better than most. They do have a little learning curve but then so does Menzerna SIP! Me ? they're ok, I switched to the 3M 3000 line with IP instead of their Swirl Remover and I really like 3M pads - both wool and foam.

heard about them and saw the pics, unfortunately not much since DACP has tickled me from Megs specifically.

I always assumed it was how Meguiars, 3M and Auto Magic have marketed so aggressively to bulk sales customers with attractive bulk sales discounts. Menzerna and other retailers tend to do better with the smaller niche detailers.

Some of the new products are OTC stuff like:
NXT v2.0
#21 v2.0
QID
M135 quick detail spray.
Most of them will probably be out when the new year starts. I think NXT 2.0 has already hit the shelves in some places. Initial impressions have been positive but time will tell I guess. Don't know anything about their professional line though.

I have a feeling a lot of people that "will never go back" never really used them properly. I have Optimum, tried Menzerna and quite a few other polishes, and I still use Meguair's.

;) there is a good reason why I am flying down to SoCal to get some. Not many companies stand behind their product as much as Meguair's.

A few meguiars products are nice, the APC (ag sold) and plastix which I find is cheaper than using my AIO products.

im mostly a meguiar's guy... i used their Gold Class Car Wash, Hyper-Wash, All-Season Dressing, All-Purpose Cleaner, NXT Tech Wax, Gold Class Wax, and other stuff...

for the price their stuff is great!!

I have tried the new Meguiars NXT 2.0 last weekend. I did half my hood on my truck to see how it will look and hold up. So far I really like the NXT 2.0. It is very clear and more deep looking that the original NXT. Kind of 'nuba looking. Deep gloss shine.

When I use the flow method the water runs off faster than anything I have ever seen. Probably do the whole truck this coming weekend and see what it looks like. I'm going to try several of their new products as soon as I can get them.

Meguiars makes great products and give as good of results as anything on the market if used properly. Just like all the rest of the products brought up on this thread. They will all give very good results when used properly.

Of course the OP'er was talking about "Meguiars" new products so why even reply if your just going to bash Megs, like in the first reply. We all like what we choose to spend our money on and use. And get great results as well.

For reference here's my truck done with nothing but Megs products.

There's a gift pack from Megs that wallymart is selling for 25 bucks, it has the new NXT in it. I got a feeling that a lot of folks may be getting one for Christmas.
