Since this is my first post thought I would post up some pics of my car. I have been using Zaino products for years but recently invested in a DA machine and Menzerna products. The main problem I was having with Zaino is it recommends applying by hand yet it still had some minor surface scratches even after several coats. The machine polishing completely removed all defects in the paint and left a flawless finish. I was a a little hesitant about using a machine to start with as I have ceramic paint and thought I may damage it. I read the Mike Phillips book and gained some valuable knowledge, can't believe it took me so long to invest in a machine:)

Nice car! The wheels look incredible on it, I NEED one of those!

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using AG Online

Thank you. The wheels are HRE M40 in a brushed finish and clear coated. I had them custom made for the car in the US and shipped to Australia. I just took them all off this morning and polished/waxed them again inside and out, then applied some wheel sealant to stop any tar etc. sticking to them.

I am sure the dust can be fierce from those monster brakes too! The wheels suit the car really well, especially the finish. I have not seen too many wheels that are better than the factory ones, yours are my favorite by far! I may have to copy you if I can pick one of these up later this year! Haha.

Were they coated or are they bare like polished HRE wheels typically are? I only have experience with 547's.

Welcome aboard and I have to say, those wheels you have there are pure sex!!!

The wheels have a clear coat both inside and out, if they were bare they would be a nightmare to clean and polish. The wheels are now 18 months old (3 sets of tyres) , I removed them and machine polished the inside with Menzerna to get any surface scratches out then waxed them and finally applied Nanolex wheel sealant Nanolex Premium Alloy Sealant | Nanolex , it's amazing stuff for repelling any contaminates.

I have 19x10 and 19x11's on one of my cars that are not coated. They are made by CCW, and are polished top to bottom and inside out, so I can agree with your nightmare statement! Haha
Ill have to check that stuff out!
