I got a new car (2014 Acura TSX Wagon) a few months ago and have been browsing the forums every day! Excellent community with TONS of information. I'm only a weekend warrior and have OCD where I like things clean! I've already gotten the bug and brought a lot of stuff that I will probably never finish using. Before discovering Autogeek I used a Turtle Random Orbiter from Walmart with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. After all the reading the last few months I took advantage of the Black Friday sale and got the Flex 3401 with LC changable plate system, Wolfgang Trio (TSR, FG, DGPS), LC Hybrid Pads, lots of microfiber towels, and bunch of other stuff.

I plan to do a full detail on my car with time off from work this coming Christmas/New Year holidays.

I'm hoping to learn a lot more and hopefully one day contribute back and help others.

Welcome to AGO! What part of Cali? My wife and I were actually looking at a TSX wagon buy opted for an MDX instead...did you add CarPro Dlux for the trim by chance? If not, I highly recommend it...

Welcome to the site. The Flex 3401 VRG and Hybrid Pads are IMO the best combo to correct with any product! Awesome start!!

Thanks Everyone!

I'm in San Jose, CA. I was also looking at the MDX but decided to go with the TSX Wagon for a couple reasons. One was that I wanted a car with good gas mileage while still having some cargo space. The TSX Wagon fit that perfectly!

I actually did get CarPro DLux during the Black Friday sale. I also got Black Label Diamond Glass Coating, Black Label Diamond Wheel Coating, & DP Tire Coating. I went a little overboard but wanted to make sure the car was going to be in tip top shape!

For weekly/maintenance wash I got CG Honeydew to do a two bucket wash.

That would have been awesome to go to! Any chance of another meet? Maybe sometime in the Spring?

I'm actually going on a road trip down to Southern California (Anaheim) later this week and just purchased an Acura OEM Full Nose Bra for the trip. That should help with any chips. I only plan to use the Full Nose Bra during road trips so hopefully it doesn't cause any scratches or anything on the paint. Anyone have experience/tips on what to do and what not to do?

I plan to wash the car before putting the Full Nose Bra on and take it off and wash the car again when I get back home.

I'm more than positive we'll have another at Bryan's place again, its suppose to be in February/March sometime. PM your contact info - email/phone an I'll make sure your put on the list once we start up communication for the next meet n greet.

Never messed with nose bra's so sorry i'm of no help there - just an fyi if you plan on getting any Acura parts, google oem acura part peoria AZ - best dam prices on the net and no tax, decent shipping prices. I ordered Roof Rails, Advance Boards and Splash Guards for the MDX, saved a ton vs the dealership here...

Overboard? Pssst! That's perfectly normal. Hopefully we'll see you at the next meet up.

Welcome! I would suggest swapping out the Black Label for CQuartz UK or Glosscoat, but that is up to you.

I'm in Walnut Creek myself. Hopefully you can make it out to our next meet.

Thanks guys! I'll definitely attend the next meet. I just PM'd James (281) my contact.

Welcome to AGO. Great sites are made by great people. I'm 61 years old and thought I knew vehicle maintenance. This site has taught this old dog that he was traveling in the wrong direction. You are in the right place. Help is always just a keystroke away
