I hv been reading a lot on these forums and have learnt a lot over the years.
Finally time to introduce myself
Software developer by day and avid car detailer on weekend!
Our cars include
an 01 bmw 330ci - my pride and joy!
an 01 nissan maxima - our family car
and newly added 06 accord
I enjoy detailing all of our cars even though it sure takes it time.
My tools/products include
- an ultimate detailing machine
- lc orange black yellow and white pads
- xmt swirl removers
- menzerna polishes
- wolfgang wax
- pinnacle sig series 2 wax
- wolfgang dgps 3.0
- wolfgang glaze
I do need to learn severe paint correction. While the maxima and bmw are now relatively swirl free, i hv never felt very comfortable using the very abrasive compounds yet. So i've tend to let go.
The accord on the other hand has been my test mule. I hv actually tried wet sanding on it, and soon need to make a dedicated thread on how i should go about making some paint corrections.
Hoping to learn more and spend more time on these forums and participate more.
