Hi, I'm Bert.
I'm in Kalamazoo MI, lived here most of my life. My wife and I are not big time car geeks but I do like to keep them clean and shinny. I also ride a Harley Davidson Roadglide Ultra. I'm trying to find a product like Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System.

That's really why I'm here. So I'll go try to find a proper thread to ask about this product or one like it for taking out swirl marks and small scratches on my gas tank and fenders.

Have a great summer,

Bert

Welcome Bert! Ask away. There are plenty on here who do their bikes too.

Hi Bert. I'm from St. Joseph about 50min from you. I have done quite a few Japan bike gas tanks and never needed to use microfiber pads. They generally have more cut than foam. Plus your working such a small area foam should be just fine.

I've used 3in hydro-tech and 4in hexlogic foam pads and they both have worked great with the porter cable 7424xp with a 2 7/8in backing plate. I'm sure the Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System would yield great results too. I might opt to try the finishing MF pad first with Meguiars D302.

:welcome: To Autogeek Online Bert !! :props:
